Apnea Education for Kids

Duration: 3-4Hours 

This course aims to teach children to overcome their natural cautiousness of water by learning to go underwater safely. The instructor will facilitate learning through the use of games and activities that children will enjoy. 

Class Outline:
Theory on safety / freediving concepts
Breathing for relaxation
Pool Exercises 

Instructor: About Mark - Apnea42 Founder – Apnea42 Freediving

Course Content:

  • Freediving theory
  • Breathing & Relaxation Fundamentals 
  • Use of Freediving equipment
  • Games with/without equipment
  • Recovery of objects
  • Static apnea ('Hold the breath for a moment')
  • Dynamic apnea ('Short Underwater Swims')
  • Duckdives

Upon completion, the student will be awarded with a SSI Basic Pool Certification and he/she can join us for pool trainings with a qualified buddy.

*Equipment will be provided during the course

 Prerequisites: 

  • Minimum 10 years of age
  • Proficient & comfortable swimming in water 
  • Kid must be interested in learning more underwater 

Venue: Central Pool

Important:

Please speak to your kid, to see if they are keen on a underwater adventure course. Minimum two to start.
